Our process

Each of PROMAX Innovation's two automated SMT lines begins with a high-precision Printer machine that includes automatic solder paste deposition inspection. This ensures maximum quality and allows for the detection of any errors before the assembly process and subsequent heating in the reflow oven.

The automated production lines at PROMAX Innovation feature four high-speed Pick & Place machines. These machines are capable of inserting several thousand components per hour and can handle components as small as 01005 and as tall as 15 mm.

9-stage programmable reflow oven. A programmable, progressive heating and cooling system designed to secure the solder joints of electronic components while reducing thermal stress. It allows for the execution of appropriate soldering profiles for each type of assembly, adapting to the requirements of every design.

Our process

To meet our goal of zero failures, we employ an AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) station that detects component application errors or manufacturing defects via optical sensors. The system incorporates an OK/KO (Pass/Fail) station with laser-based height verification and two remote verification stations.

Our SMD facility is equipped to perform rework procedures, including reflow, alignment, removal, and placement, for circuit assemblies featuring surface-mount devices (SMD) like BGA, PBGA, CSP, FC, LGA, LCC, and others.

X-ray Inspection Unit: We use a latest-generation General Electric Phoenix x|aminer for advanced inspection of critical electronic components, including BGAs and solder joints. We offer flexible inspection services, from sampling control checks to comprehensive, full-lot studies, all documented with detailed images and reports.

X-ray Inspection System: Featuring 160 KV X-ray technology, we deliver crystal-clear, high-definition images. This capability is used to pinpoint defects (categorized by diameter and thickness), problems within interface/contact zones, and voids in welds.
